ECOM HFA-100 is an HF RF linear amplifier, designed to boost the RF power output of military or commercial HF man pack radios from 15 Watts to 100 Watts PER The amplifier uses reliable military design with fully protected solid-state broadband technology, eliminating the need of frequency tuning or adjustment. The amplifier operates in Class AB providing suitable linearity for use in all modes, i.e. SSB, AM, CW and AFSK Data modes. To reduce spurious emissions, a six-band low pass filter is installed at the output stage. The amplifier operates off a 13.6 Volts DC source drawing 15Amps average (20 Amps peak) current. The amplifier must be connect-ed toa 50Q antenna, or be used with an automatic antenna tuner.
